 God loves everyone and wants us to love Him too!   He sent His Son Jesus to save everyone from the death of sin.   All we need to do is to ask and have faith in Jesus!  Jesus said if we love Him we should follow Him. For He leads to eternal life with God the Father. There is so much confusion in the world it is so easy to question where to turn or who to follow. Many churches are preaching their own doctrine and not the true word of God. They twist the words of God and confuse people.

But Jesus is the only way and He made it clear that we need to repent our sins, that is really be sorry for living a sinful life and turn away from the sinful things we do. When we ask Jesus to save us we are asking for His free gift to everyone that believes in Him -- that is faith.

How do we get saved?
  1. Admit to Jesus that you are a sinner. You have no chance at heaven without Jesus
  2. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and reveal Himself to you
  3. Follow and practice all what Jesus taught us which is:
  • Love God with all of your heart, and mind, and soul. Worship Him!
  • Love everyone even as you love yourself
    •
    1. Be born again.  That is shed your old sinful ways of thinking and doing. Walk in the light of Christ.

    It will not always be easy to follow Jesus but He promised us we would never be alone, the Holy Spirit is always with those who believe.  I love my children dearly and always want to protect them, and God loves us.   He does not want us to be hurt or lonely. And just like I know what is best for my children God knows what is best for His children too!  If we rebel against Him, then just like a child here on earth that would rebel against their parents, God will correct our behavior.

    Reading the New Testament we can see that Jesus is preaching love. Love for God and for each and every single person on earth. Our choice is to take up our cross and follow Him, or not. Why anyone would not want to follow Jesus to eternal life is mind-boggling but some decide not to do so.

    It is important to understand that Jesus came to save the sinner, that is you and me. Anything that separates us from God is sin.  So ANY sin is rebellion against God, and we ought not to do it.
