Should we really celebrate christmass?.

Will you know the false prophet when he arrives on the scene to pave the way for the antichrist? Look at what is being accepted as OK in the church today, whether by teaching or by apostasy.

If people believe this is OK with God then how will they know when the false prophet arrives?

They won't. Because they do not know God. You have to know God's word in order to know when someone is twisting and perveting it.  Yet this has happened before.

When Jesus walked this earth many people thought Him just another self appointed prophet travelling the countryside in search of a following.  When He perfromed miracles however, people took notice and many believed. Many even believed before His miracles, but still His following grew as the miracles increased. Yet sadly many people still did not believe He was the Son of God -- the long awaited Messiah.  Pause on that a minute -- even after Jesus performed countless miracles, He was still not accepted as the Son of God by all. Sadly, when the false prophet arrives many will wrongly believe he is of God.

The Sanhedrin was full of learned people who knew the scriptures well.  Jewish culture was not like in the west today, or many secular societies; God and His worship was woven into their very fabric of life. At the end of the day after meal time, the men would gather in the Synagogue to recite scripture. The Jews were expecting the Messiah indeed, scripture indicated this. But what were they expecting the Messiah to do?

Had the Romans not been an occupying force in Jerusalem at the time, the Jews might not have expected the Messiah to crush the Romans and restore Israel to it's once glorious supremecy.  So when it was obvious that Jesus did not come to do this, many people simply did not believe, they did not know God's word and therefore they did not know His son. Instead they followed their own desires and wishes because they did not want to believe.

Jesus spoke the word of God, and few believed. Jesus did many miracles and still few believed. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead so that everyone would see God did send Him and to show God's glory, still many did not believe Jesus was the son of God. Raising someone from the dead who was already starting to rot, and only a few believed. To many did not recognize Him as God because they had a preconceived notion of what the Messiah would do.

Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou believedst, thou shouldest see the glory of God? So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou heardest me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the multitude that standeth around I said it, that they may believe that thou didst send me. And when he had thus spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
(Joh 11:40-43)

Christians today say in hindsight that they would have believed Jesus. Today many people simply bypass what the scripture says of the false prophet, and jump on the antichrist band wagon of trying to figure out who he is. But just as John paved the way for Jesus, preaching to many people, the false prophet will pave the way for the antichrist.

The members of the Sanhedrin said that if they were alive when their forefathers were alive they would not have killed the prophets.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye build the sepulchers of the prophets, and garnish the tombs of the righteous, and say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we should not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye witness to yourselves, that ye are sons of them that slew the prophets. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye offspring of vipers, how shall ye escape the judgment of hell?
(Mat 23:29-33)

Many of them simply did not recognize God and they thought they would.

So how will you recognize the false prophet? Many Christians have a preconceived notion they will be whisked away by a rapture and spared any tribulation that is associated with the antichrist. Many Jews thought Jesus would revolt against the Romans, when this did not happen they did not believe Him. When a rapture does not happen will people then not believe anymore?

If you believe that homosexuality is OK, or it is a woman's right to murder an unborn baby, do you really follow the teaching of Jesus Christ? If you do not follow the teaching of Jesus Christ then how can you know God? If you do not know God how will you know when the false prophet comes? -- unfortunately you won't.

You will be deceived because Satan is the king of liars and deceives, and if it were possible he will even deceive the elect. Not only is Satan's intellect superior to any human, but God himself will send a delusion so that people will believe the antichrist.

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
(2Th 2:8-12)

The false prophet will come and deceive many while paving the way for the antichrist. Those who do not know God's word will believe the false prophet. By the time the antichrist comes, if you do not know God you will believe the lies the devil is spewing through his antichrist.

Seek God every day with all your heart, worship Him, have faith in His Son Jesus Christ, read the Bible. Jesus warned of the leaven of the Sanhedrin so too today we must be weary of the teachings of mainstream churches. For if the blind lead the blind they both fall into the pit.
